About us

The Histon Hobblers is a friendly, informal, women’s running club that is designed for people with busy schedules. We have been running around Histon & Impington in Cambridgeshire, since the group started in Spring 2002. Every year there are first timers who run the Race for Life and old stagers who run the London Marathon but what binds us together is a desire to take time out from our busy lives and do something to make us feel good! We can be heard chatting our way around the village as we rack up the miles – many see it as an opportunity to catch up with old friends and make many new ones. Our motto is “hear us coming, join us running!” We organise socials, weekends away, charity runs and parties.

We are not a formal club – we have no constitution, committees, insurance cover or joining fees and all run at their own risk. But we do have an open access policy – ANYONE can come along, however if you have a medical history we would advise you to visit your doctor first. Ladies run at times to suit them – early mornings, during the day and evenings.
